BUILT FOR THE COLDEST DAYS.

The Heritage Heavyweight Waffle Thermal is our serious cold-weather layer—built for winter mornings, long days outside, and temperatures that demand more than a lightweight base layer.

The heavyweight waffle construction creates pockets of warmth while remaining comfortable and flexible enough for active use. Wear it on its own in cool conditions or layer it over our Lightweight Thermal when winter really sets in.

Whether you're riding, working outside, setting up camp, or spending a full day in the mountains, this is the layer designed to keep going when temperatures fall.

Great Heavy Thermal

I’ve run just about every base layer out there, and this waffle thermal has quickly become my go-to when conditions turn cold. Compared to lightweight thermals, the heavyweight waffle construction makes a real difference it traps heat efficiently while still breathing enough to manage moisture through long days outside. Whether I’m glassing ridgelines, riding sleds, or starting cold mornings in camp, it stays warm without feeling bulky or restrictive.

The fabric dries fast, stretches naturally with movement, and layers cleanly under jackets and midlayers. It feels durable and purpose-built, not like something that’s going to break down after a hard season. This is a serious cold-weather base layer designed for real use, not just casual wear. From winter hunts to long rides and early starts, it’s exactly what you want against your skin when the weather demands more.

I love these thermals

I love these thermals. I was worried at first that they wouldn’t be a warm enough base layer on my first ride out for the season but they ended up being perfect. They breathe well. Stay warm and are the best layer thermals I’ve ever worn.
